Now, there’s an alternative to the more expensive solutions offering steep edges and deep blocking in laser line long pass filters! Optometrics, using its IAD oxide coating process, now provides durable high performing filters with OD ≥ 6.0 at the laser line, image quality and high transmission, enabling the detection of very weak signals. Additionally, with the edge width from the 50% point to the laser wavelength < 1.5% and with average transmission > 85% for bandwidth ranges 400-900nm, these filters are ideal for most applications in laser induced fluorescence, Raman microscopy and astronomical applications. These are now available at competitive prices.
