We are pleased to announce that, as of October 22nd 2001, Optometrics USA, Inc. will become Optometrics LLC.
This is more than a name change. It reflects a change in the organizational structure from a publicly held company under the Optometrics Group, to a private, management-owned, independent corporation. The owners of the company are Frank Denton and Laura Lunardo. Frank Denton is one of the original founders of Optometrics USA, Inc. and has been its Chief Operating & Technical Officer since 1975. Laura Lunardo has been the company's Chief Financial and Administrative Officer since 1981.
As a result of this change, Optometrics LLC will be in a better position to support its customers, provide a faster response to requests for product modifications and speed its R&D product development cycle.
