Optometrics USA, Inc. is pleased to announce a new 600 l/mm grating specifically designed for use in telecommunications applications. It will reduce costs and simplify system design compared to other products as a result of relatively flat response in the telecommunications band. That flat response eliminates the need for polarizing elements to maintain high efficiency.

The grating is engineered to provide both high efficiency and low polarization dependence between 1500 and 1600 nanometers, making it an excellent choice for a wide variety of WDM and other NIR applications. The grating is available in both standard and custom sizes from 6-50mm sq.. An aluminum coating is standard; an optional gold coating is available.
